17 years in marketing. The last 8 built around one bet: healthcare, and nothing else.
I'm Vinay — founder of Socialvave. Before healthcare, I spent years in digital content and media. Somewhere along the way, I made a deliberate call to stop chasing every brief and go all-in on one category instead.
I've been in marketing throughout, Healthcare came later
Before healthcare, I worked in digital content and media — launching and promoting services at scale, the kind of work where you learn quickly whether a strategy actually moves numbers or just looks good in a deck.
That background is still in everything I do. It's why I'm skeptical of tactics that perform well on paper but don't survive contact with a real audience, and why I'd rather size a plan to what a budget can actually deliver than oversell it to close a deal.
Started in digital content & media
Years spent launching and promoting services at scale, before healthcare entered the picture at all.
Founded Socialvave 8 years ago
Built it as a general digital marketing agency at first, not healthcare-exclusive from day one.
Made the deliberate call to specialize
Chose to go all-in on healthcare rather than keep chasing every brief that came through the door.
Generalist work teaches you a lot. It doesn't teach you healthcare
Hospital marketing isn't small-business marketing with a bigger budget — referral patterns, physician trust, and patient decision cycles behave differently, and I got tired of watching the same social-media playbook get applied regardless of category. Going healthcare-only wasn't a rebrand. It meant turning down work outside it, so every campaign, page, and piece of content is built around how a patient actually decides, not a generic funnel borrowed from somewhere else.
10+ people, one focus
I lead strategy across every account personally, working alongside a team of 10+ across development, campaigns, and content. Every account is still shaped directly by someone who's spent the better part of a decade learning what actually moves a hospital department — not handed off to a junior account manager the moment the contract is signed.
A few things I won't do, regardless of the deal on the table
I won't oversell a timeline
If SEO or content will genuinely take months to show results, I say that upfront — not after the invoice.
I won't take on a budget that can't move a number
If a budget is too small to make paid media worthwhile, I'll say so rather than take the retainer anyway.
I won't run the same playbook for every account
A hospital department, a solo clinic, and an individual doctor are three different problems, not one template applied three times.
Let's talk about what you're actually trying to fix.
Free consultation — no packaged pricing, no generic proposal. Just a straight answer about what's realistic.
